John A. Adams, 80, of Bloomington, passed away Sept. 2, 2015, at his home.
John was born Dec. 4, 1934 in Bloomington, the son of Homer and Vulia Lehman Adams. He married Betty Doner on Dec. 27, 1952 in Bloomington.
John is survived by his children, John Adams, Sam Adams, Mark Adams, Sallie (Rocky) Griffin, Emily (Rod) Jackson and Matt Adams; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
John is preceded in death by both parents, five brothers and two sisters.
He worked for GTE as a computer technician for 38 years.
