Amburn Rites Slated Sunday In Cherokee

MURPHY--William Horace Amburn, 82, a retired miner, died at his home on RFD 1, Copperhill, Tenn., Tuesday following a long illness.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p. m. Sunday in Macedonia Baptist Church.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Survivors include seven daughters, Mrs. Bill Hancock, Mrs. G. O. Simonds, Mrs. Ralph Witherow, Mrs. Naomi Patterson and Mrs. James Newman, all of Copperhill RFD 1, Miss Marie Amburn of the home and Mrs. Floyd Kaylor of Mineral Bluff, Ga.
Also one son, Carl Amburn of Lexington: one sister, Mrs. Maggie Brooks of Ducktown, Tenn.; 23 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
