She was born Feb. 7, 1914, in Springfield, the daughter of Albert and Rose DeCroix Bowman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Sponsler, in 1949.
Survivors: a son; six daughters; a sister, Eva Jones of Washington; 25 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday, Bisch and Son Funeral Home, the Rev. Thom Dennis officiating.
Burial: Calvary Cemetery.
