He attended school at Beech Grove Schools. For many years he worked as a maintenance man in the Indianapolis area and was a bonded lock smith. He loved working on cars and especially his Dodge Darts, owning several over the years. He was a member of First Christian Church in Beech Grove. Past Master Councilor of the International Order of DeMolay.
Preceded in death by his wife Della Rose Hunt. Survivors include his mother and her husband: Susan A. Mayes (Larry); father & stepmother: James H. Vaden (Wendy); daughters: Tanna Marie Pagan, Julie Miller, Bridget Marshal; siblings: Tara Sue Chamberlin and her husband William, five grandchildren, stepson Danny Grayson, also many step/half brothers and sisters.
There will be no public services. Arrangements were conducted by Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Southport Chapel, 7520 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis.
