MUNSEY, Peggy Stiff, 62, of Thaxton, passed away Friday, May 17, 1996. She was a former resident of Jamestown, N.C. Surviving are her husband, Bobby Lee Munsey; son and daughter-in-law, Barry L. and Anne W. Munsey, Staunton; daughter and son-in-law, Beth D. and Kevin R. Bird, Vinton; three grandchildren, Matthew S., Tyler L. and Spencer K. Bird ; grandbaby-to-be, Sarah Anne Munsey; her parents, Carlisle O. and Kathleen Stiff of Thaxton; sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Bill Bourne, Thaxton; brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Catherine Stiff, Moneta; and many special nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at Oakey's Vinton Chapel, 1 p.m. Monday, with Dr. Harry Y. Gamble officiating. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Oakey's Vinton Chapel
