Adolph is the son of Franz Graf and Maria Schulock, per his application for a social security number.

Marriage: Vienna, Austria.

Immigration: Adolf came to the United States in 1907 aboard the Cronprinz Wilhelm sailing from Havre to Ellis Island, NY, USA. He traveled with his cousin Antal Kaszanits and were going to their uncle, Franz Stubits` home in Chicago, IL, USA. Adolf left his wife, Maria Osvald, behind in Austria with their four children. She later came to America with the oldest, Rosa and the youngest, Louisa, leaving the two middle children, Adolf, Jr. and Anna with her parents, Josef Osvald and Anna. They later came to meet their parents in the US in the early 1920s.

"The four siblings born in Europe, Rose, Anna, Adolf, and Aloisa (Luisa), were baptized in two different churches in Vienna. They have the name "Oswald" on the baptismal records since their parents did not legally marry until their father left for the USA in 1906 on the steamship "La Bretagne." There was not enough money to bring the other two kids. [Anna] and Adolf did not come to the USA until June of 1921 on board a ship called the Potomac."
