Charles E. Martin, 92, of Albany and formerly of Plattsburgh, died Saturday in St. Peter's Hospital in Albany after a brief illness.
He was born June 21, 1887 in Dannemora, the son of Charles E. Martin and Catherine (Clark) Martin. He was employed as a salesman for American Lubricants Corps. until he retired about one year ago.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. George (Carolyn) Marthy of Albany; one son, Charles E. Martin Jr. of Sun City, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be tonight at the Hans Funeral Home, 1088 Western Ave. in Albany at 8 p.m.
The will be a memorial service in Plattsburgh at the First Presbyterian Church Saturday at 1 p.m. Friends are invited to attend.
