Colonel Gale Hartwell French, 76, died on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Manchester, NH, he earned a Business Degree from University of New Hampshire. Gale served his country proudly for many years as an Air Force Pilot during Desert Storm. He continued his service in the Air Force Reserves where he was known as the “King of the Good Deal.” Gale is survived by his two sons; Jason M. French of Wilbraham and Corey J. French of Japan. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at Wilbraham Funeral Home. Gale’s Funeral Service, with full military honors, will be held on Friday, October 23rd at 9:00 am at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St., Agawam.
