Daniel W. Howells, 82, of Ocean View Drive, Dennis Port, a retired sales representative for the Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. of Framingham where he had lived before coming to the Cape, died March 29 at his home. He was born in Flushing, N.Y., and was a 50-year member of Alpha Lodge AF and AM of Framingham, and Aleppo Temple, Boston. Survivors are his widow, Dorothy (Gore) Howells; two sons, Daniel W. Howells, Jr., of Marblehead, and Robert G. Howells of Needham; four grandchildren. Burial was in Swan Lake Cemetery, Dennis Port.
