An almost lifelong resident of the gulf coast, T. R. graduated from Gulfport High School, University of Southern Miss (KA parties notwithstanding) and Hermann Memorial Physical Therapy School. He was primarily a physical therapist, but had a never-ending spirit for entrepreneurialism. He served in the Army National Guard and was a Catholic.
Some of his lifelong passions and accomplishments include fishing, boating, camping, and cooking. He loved nature and dogs. He was a member of the Yacht Club and a motel magnet. He was the owner of a corner bar and car wash.
A friend to everyone, T. R. and Melinda always opened their home to family, friends, and strangers who needed a bed for a night or a home for months.
Another departed friend had said "He who dies with the most toys wins". Paraphrasing, "He who dies with the most friends wins". T. R. wins. He was a master and teacher of enjoying life.
T. R. is preceded in death by his parents, T. R. Sr. and Virginia Brady. He leaves behind his patient and loving wife of 23 years, Melinda; two daughters, Jill Renee Brady and Jan Brady, Watt; sister Sandy (Rodney) Gullo; stepson, Wesley (Angela) Mauldin; cousin, Denny Jordan, as well as many other unrelated brothers and sisters.
Grits, Dummy!
