Cecil William Angel, age, 75, of Florence, Alabama, died, Monday, October 19, 2015. The visitation will be Thursday, October 22nd from 11:30-1:00p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. The funeral will follow in the chapel at 1:00p.m. with Dr. Gary Cosby officiating. Interment will be in Pisgah Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be grandsons; Thomas and Tyler Corum, Caleb and Joshua Bogus, Stephen and Mark Angel and Phillip Holcombe.

Cecil was preceded in death by his parents, Cornelius and Ethel Angel and brother, Donnie Angel.

Cecil was a well-known artist in the Shoals. His metal art is in Florence, in the local parks and at the Kennedy Douglas Center for the Arts.

Survivors include his son, Delane Angel (Tracey); daughters; Natalie Bogus (Braxton), Alison Ware, Tracy Corum (Tom); brothers, Charles Angel (Elaine) and Dennis Creasy (Donna), sister, Shelby Crosswhite (Billy), Bobbie Willard (Pinkie), and Betty Angel. He also leaves grand-daughters; Danielle Holcombe, Angel Ware, Kayln Angel, Kirstie Corum, Leigh Carl Corum, Katelyn Bogus and great-grandchildren Avery Corum and Cohen Corum, and a host of nieces and nephews.

On behalf of our father, we wish to express special gratitude to Elaine Angel for many years of self-less advocacy, love, and service for Cecil.
