Mrs. Edna Mabel Auldridge, 92, died Thursday, April 6, 1999 in Wichita Falls.

Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Friday, April 9 from the First Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Nichols, pastor of Southside Baptist Church of Wichita Falls officiating, assisted by Rev. Tom Medley, pastor of United Methodist Church, Electra and Rev. Jack Riley, pastor of First Baptist Church of Electra. Interment was in Electra Memorial Park.

Mrs. Auldridge was born November 6, 1906 in Brown County, Texas. She and James Gilbert Auldridge were married March 14, 1925 in Leday, Texas. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Electra. She attended school in Leday, Texas. She worked as a cook for several panhandle ranches and was custodian of several churches in Electra.

Survivors include one son, Eugene Auldridge of Electra; one daughter, Mary Malone of Lebanon, Mo.; One sister, Ellen Robey of Lubbock, Texas; one granddaughter, Rhonda Argo of Marshfield, Mo.; one grandson, James Auldridge of Electra; five great grandchildren, Jason Argo, Angela Argo, Matthew Malone, Amanda Malone, and Jimmie Malone.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Auldridge on February 11, 1991; three brothers George Van Huss 1997, Earl Van Huss, Lee Van Huss; one sister, Dorothy Smith and a grandson, Rocky Malone 1995.

Memorials may be made to the Senior Citizens Center, 503 W. Michigan, Electra or the American Heart Association._
