Joseph Cable was born in Pennsylvania the son of Jacob and Susanna (Ulrich) Cable. He married Caroline Susan Gibler on July 5th 1868 and together they had one daughter Amy Jane. Joseph was thrown from his horse on July 24th 1870 and passed away the following evening.
