Mrs. Moses Bales died at 10 o'clock Friday night of cancer, at her home, No. 501 South College street, aged 62 years. She was born in Madison county, Ohio, and had resided in the county since 1852. She leaves a husband and seven children: Mrs. Geo. W. Constant, of Riverton; Mrs. Clinton Wilson, of Fulda, Minn.; Mrs. Alonzo Cease, of Venice, Ill.; Mrs. W. A. Enlus of Indianapolis, Ind.; Mr. Chas. W. Bales of this city; Mr. George Bales, of Gardner, Ill., and Mr. Frank Bales of the American Express company's office here.
The funeral will take place tomorrow morning from the residence and the remains will be taken on the Illinois Central train to the Wolf Creek cemetery for interment.
