Danila (Fior) Rock, our loving mother passed away, surrounded by her family, October 20, 2015. She was 89, and was proceeded in death by her husband, George Ivan Rock Sr, and her grandson, Ron E. Meyn.
She was born in Trieste, Italy, daughter of Michele Fior and Guilia Codermaz. She married George Ivan Rock in 1949 and came to the United States in 1950. She became an American citizen the following year.
Family and friends will gather for a Graveside service At Maple Hill Cemetery, 2301 S. 34th st, Kansas City, KS, Tuesday October 27, 2015 at 10:00am. A celebration of Danila's life will be held after the service.
She leaves behind daughter Mary Rushing (Terry); daughter Ivana Alexander; son George Rock Jr. (Alana); son John Rock; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She will be missed dearly and remembered always.
