She graduated from Manual Arts High School in Los Angeles and attended Long Beach City College. She retired from Hughes Aircraft in Torrance.
Marlene was a great mom and grandma supporting Hope in her crazy animal collecting and Kent with all of his airplane activities, even letting him build a plane in the garage. She was very excited about having her first great-grandson. Marlene was an avid crafter and seamstress. Her last weekend out was spent attending a Concert in the Park and going to the Agua Caliente Casino in Palm Springs. Gambling and people watching
were a few of her favorite things.
She is survived by her daughter, Hope, grandchildren Johnnie (Great-grandson Wyatt) and Kelsey. Son, Kent (Tracy), grandsons Eric and Brett.
There will be no service. Arrangements were provided by Pacific Crest Cemetery.
