Scott Dort
Traverse City- Scott E. Dort, year-old son of Mary and Dale Dort of Traverse City, died at Munson Medical Center April 15.
He was born at Traverse City on Oct. 27, 1978.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Bobbi Jo and Tammy Lynn, both at home; his maternal grandparents, Richard and Maxine Courtad of Traverse City; his paternal grandparents, Jesse and Gertrude Dort Sr. of Beulah; his maternal great-grandmother, Nellie Courtad of Traverse City; and his paternal great-grandmother Emma Dort of Beulah.
Scott was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church.
A funeral mass will be held at Martinson-Covell Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Father Raymond Mulk officiating. Burial will be in Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be directed to the Michigan Crippled Childrens Fund or the Michigan Cancer Foundation. Envelopes are available at the funeral home where friends may call.
