A.K. McClintock, about 60, former Greenville printer, and father of Ned McClintock of this city, died Sunday morning at his home in Uvalde, Texas. He had been in ill health for some time.
Mr. McClintock was connected with The Evening Banner as a linotype operator for more than 20 years, and about ten years ago moved to Uvalde for his health. He had been connected with a weekly newspaper there since he left Greenville.
He was recognized as one of the most efficient men in his profession, and was widely known for his speed and accuracy as a linotype operator.
Ned McClintock left Sunday for Uvalde to attend the funeral service for his father.
Mr. McClintock is survived by his wife, several children and numerous other relatives.
