Funeral services for Mrs. Gertrude "Tudie" Verrett, 64, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Rush Funeral Home Chapel in Oakdale. She died Sunday at Savoy Medical Center in Mamou.
She is survived by two sons, Carl J. Verrett Jr. of Pine Prairie and Willie A. Verrett of Glenmora; one daughter, Sharon A. Ardoin of Pine Prairie; two brothers, David Barrilleaux of Gibson and Larry Barrilleaux of Berwick; four sisters, Shirley Vining of Patterson, Dale Crappell of Bayou Vista, Liz Gussman of Morgan City and Anna Ribardi of Berwick; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday beginning at 8 a.m. at Rush Funeral Home in Oakdale.
