Martin Berry, died at the Princeton Community Hospital, where she had been a patient for two months following a stroke, on December 10.
Funeral services were held at the Princeton Methodist Church, with burial in Oak Knoll.
Jessie Martin was the daughter of Harvey and Elizabeth Martin, and born near Harris, in April 19, 1873. When ten years old the family moved to a farm in Spencer Brook township, whe she resided until her marriage to Royal Berry, on March 13,1898.
Mr and Mrs Berry for many years operated a farm in Mille Lacs county, about two and a half miles east of Princeton. They moved into the village in 1943. Mr. Berry passed away in August 1947.
There were five children, of which on daughter Elizabeth (the former Mrs. Howard Hatch of Princeton), preceded her mother in death.
Mrs Berry is survived by one son, James, farming near Moose Lake, Madge (James) Cameron, Spencer Brook, Hazel (Wm) Henschel, Cambridge, and Margaret (Clair) Patten, of Palmer Alaska, 13 grandchildren and 13 great grand children, ons sister, Mrs. Chas Wentzel of Kewanna, Ind; and many nieces and nephews.
