Albert was the son of Ralph Lee Roy Collins and Adeline Victoria Stafford.

On Sept 19, 1942 he enlisted in the U.S. Army to serve in World War II. He was a Private in the 536 Base Hqts Air Base Sqdn. A note on the back of his military headstone applications states "relieved from aid and trans to the E.R.C. on July 31, 1943. He was honorably discharged on Oct 7, 1944.

He has an upright marble military headstone.

A death record can't be found for him. He hadn't married by the 1940 census, and was single when he enlisted in the Army. It is not known if he married after the war.

His father also died in 1960 on Feb 3rd in MA, but it is unknown where he was buried. Since they almost always lived together he may also be buried here.
