Dr. Hubler was born on the family homestead near Meadow, South Dakota. He grew up near the Mayo Clinic which helped inspire his love of medicine. He graduated from the University of Minnesota. Within a few years Dr. Hubler moved to Caldwell, Idaho. His foresight brought the paramedic abulance system to Idaho, something before unheard of in a small city.

Will was married to Sharon Transue for 57 years. She was the love of his life. They had 5 beloved children. He was preceded in death by his son, Bruce, who had also become an accomplished doctor and was loved and respected by all who knew him...just like his dad.
