Mary worked at Hampton Institute for 13 years and at the Mariner’s Museum for over 20 years where she retired.
She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church for over 20 years and served on the Pastor's Aide.
Mary was loved and cherished by everyone she came in contact with. She was a dependable person who always helped her family and friends in any way possible, and she loved to cook. She will truly be missed, for she leaves a vacant spot that can never be filled.
Our sorrow cannot be expressed in words, but we find comfort in knowing that God’s will have been done.
She was preceded in death by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Jack Pollard Sr, her son Terrance Brevard, her brother Jack Pollard Jr and grandson, Breon Brevard.
She is survived by six daughters, one brother of Detroit, MI, and one sister in law of Richmond, VA. She also leaves life time friends for over 40 years, (Names of the living have been omitted per Find A Grave rules).
