She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvie; daughter, Winnie Huckabay; sisters, Evelyn Price, Lucille Owens; brother, Charley Hile; and great-granddaughter, Amy Barton. She was a Baptist by faith.
Survivors include her daughters, Pat Parker (Mike), Bonnie Spencer (Brad), Sheila Huckabay; six- grandchildren, nine- great grandchildren, four- great great grandchildren; and her personal caregiver, Ellie Dye.
Her funeral service will be on Thursday at noon at the W.G. Hardy Funeral Home, with burial following in Bethany Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
