She was born March 7, 1919, in Craig, Mo., the daughter of Ira and Daisy Cunningham Twyman.
She graduated from Fortescue High School in 1936, and moved to St. Joseph in 1937. She moved to Las Vegas, Nev., in 1953, where she worked for Baldwin's Mobile Homes in the office and in sales for 29 years. She returned to St. Joseph in 1984.
She attended the former Platt-Gard Business College and was a member of Ashland United Methodist Church, St. Joseph.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Everette Adams, in January, 1981; and a sister, Ruth King.
She is survived by two nieces, Betty Neylon and Barbara Davis, both of St. Joseph; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services were Saturday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory, St. Joseph, with entombment in Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum.
