Dennis David Barrera, age 59 of Helotes, Texas passed away Monday, October 26, 2015 at his home.
He is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Marisa Grace Vargas and brother-in-law, Glenn Holmes.
He is survived by his parents, Wesley M. Barrera and Anita G. Barrera of Helotes; son, Vincent Barrera and wife, Karina of Devine; daughters, Lisa Vargas and husband, Juan of Blanco, and Vanessa Hawkins and husband, John of North Carolina; brothers, Jerry Barrera and wife, Kathy of San Antonio and Paul Barrera and wife, Nanette of San Antonio; sisters, Deirdre Fitzpatrick and husband, Mark of San Antonio and Sarah Holmes of Houston; and grandchildren, Paco Vargas, Estevan Vargas, Evelyn Nicole Conkey, Gabriel David Conkey, Lindsay Barrera, and Markus Barrera.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 29, 2015 at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel in Devine from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel in Devine. There will be no funeral services at the Hurley Funeral Home.
