Mrs. Mae B. McCrory, 70, of Westgate Towers died at 9:25 p.m. April 24 at Ottumwa Hospital.
She was born Jan. 4, 1908, in Ottumwa to James and Eliza Purssley Brisendine. She lived in Moravia for many years before moving to Ottumwa in 1955. She was a member of Ransom Street Church of Christ. She married Harry E. McCrory on April 8, 1925, in Bloomfield. He died in 1952.
Survivors: sons Lloyd Eugene of Moravia, Richard of Sheldon and Francis of Phoenix, Ariz.; a daughter, Velma Benge of Des Moines; a stepson, Carl McCrory of Los Angeles, Calif.; a step-daughter, Naomi Poncy of Ottumwa; 26 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; a brother, Clarence Brisendine of Liberal, Kan.; and a sister, Rachel Davidson of Bloomfield.
Services: 1 p.m. Thursday at Johnson Funeral Chapel with Evangelist Donald Hunt of Church of Christ officiating. Burial: Moravia Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Kenneth Barker, Stuart Jennings, Gregory Wilson, Richard Yoder, Randy Kirkman and Jeffrey Richard.
