Patricia L. Nelson (1980 - 2015)

EAST AURORA - Patricia L. Nelson, of Olean Road, formerly of Portville, died Saturday (Oct. 24, 2015) at home, after a battle with breast cancer.

Born Sept. 1, 1962, in Olean, she was the daughter of Lawrence and Joann Moranski Nelson.

Patricia was a 1980 graduate of Portville High School; and a 1984 graduate of Cornell University, where she also earned a master's degree. She was employed by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation of Buffalo in public relations. Patricia enjoyed crafts, reading, sewing and loved her dogs.

Surviving are a sister, Pamela (David) Frentz of Cattaraugus; a brother, Lawrence (Anne) Nelson of Otego; three nephews, David Frentz, and Daniel and Patrick Nelson; and a niece, Emily Frentz.

She was predeceased by her mother on Oct. 8, 2015, and her father on Oct. 14, 2015.

Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Ellicottville.
