Billy L. “Wormie” Adams, 82, of Figsboro, VA passed away on October 28, 2015. He was born in Sevierville, TN to the late Crettie Roark Adams and William Grant Adams on December 23, 1932. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a great-granddaughter.

Mr. Adams was a charter member of Vision Assembly of God. He worked for City of Martinsville and Martin Processing in water purification as a plant manager and retired from J.C. Woolridge as a truck driver. Billy also served in the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife of sixty three years, Lorine Young Adams of the home, daughter, Mrs. Curtis L. (Judy) Bouldin, son, Billy Grant (Bud) Adams & Kaye both of Figsboro, VA, sisters, Kat King of Dana, NC, Bonnie Spicer and Jean Maranville and a brother, Jerry Adams all of Sevierville, TN. He is also survived by his grandson, Jonathan Bouldin and wife Karen of Collinsville, VA and granddaughter, Jennifer Brown and husband Eddie of Figsboro, VA, step-grandson, Tony Blanchet of Brosville, VA; great- grandchildren, Taylor and Nicholas Bouldin and Addison Brown, step- great-granddaughter Kaylee Moore and step-great-grandson, Christopher Blanchet. Also a special thank you to the Salem, VA ICU unit.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Norris Funeral Services, Martinsville, Chapel with Pastor Roger Jones officiating. The visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2015 at Norris Funeral Services and other times at the home. Burial will follow the funeral services at Roselawn Burial Park with full military rights by the Martinsville and Henry County Honor Guard.
