Singing and playing guitar was Buddy's life. He loved music and to everyone that knew him he was as good any of the stars that ever played on the Grand Ole Opry. As his son, John Austin said in a eulogy at his Dad's funeral, "He was a superstar that was never discovered". I don't think there is any doubt that any of his many, many friends would disagree with that.
