Mrs. Willene Wills Agee, age 90, of New Middleton, TN, passed away Friday, October 30, 2015, at the Summit Medical Center in Hermitage, TN.

Mrs. Willene was born May 9, 1925, in Nashville, TN, the Daughter of the late Lillie Parlea Washer and Elmer Thomas Wills. She married Teamon Carroll Agee on December 25, 1942. Willene graduated from Gordonsville High School in 1942. She worked at Bass Funeral Home for 65 years, beginning March 6, 1946, and working until July 2011. Willene was a member of the New Middleton United Methodist Church. Willene and Teamon enjoyed playing and listening to bluegrass and gospel music.

Mrs. Willene is survived by her husband; Teamon Agee of New Middleton, TN. Daughter and Son-in-Law: Joan Carol Agee Bryan and Harvey Dale Bryan of New Middleton, TN. Granddaughters: Melissa Carol (Jonathan) Clemons of Gordonsville, TN and Stacy Dale (Carl III) Reeves of Lebanon, TN. Two Great-Grandsons: Carl Neel Reeves IV, and Tyler Bryan Clemons. Brother: Doug (Emily) Wills of Nashville, TN and Sister: Jean Reasonover of Sykes, TN.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Willene are scheduled to be conducted from the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Monday, November 2, 2015, at 1PM with Bro. Royce Martin and Bro. Denman Frazier officiating. Interment will follow in the Brush Creek Cemetery.

Visitation with the Agee family will be held at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Sunday from 12 Noon until 8 PM and again on Monday from 10 AM until the time of the service at 1 PM.

The Agee Family requests that Donations in Mrs. Willene’s memory be made to the New Middleton United Methodist Church.
