Funeral Home Obituary
My dearest John... he was my soulmate as well as my lover. We were both together for nearly seven years. He was my best friend and I could always count on him no matter what.

In autumn of 2015, he passed away after a courageous battle with lung, kidney and bone cancer that lasted over a year and a half.

John was a very kind man with a sense of humor as well as a big heart. He loved animals (especially birds and dogs) and anything to do with nature.

He loved to cook and was very skilled at it. Some of his favorite things to make were chilli, baked ziti and stuffed peppers. His most favorite foods were pizza, burgers, tacos and fried chicken.

John also enjoyed watching television including The Sopranos, The Waltons and CSI: Miami. He was a major movie fanatic and loved mystery films; some of his favorite actors were Sean Penn, Tom Hanks, Jodie Foster and Samuel L. Jackson. He also liked the movies directed by Quentin Tarantino. He loved 70s and 80s classic rock music including Ozzy Osbourne, AC/DC, Tom Petty and Aerosmith.

John had a passion for collecting things like coins, dishware, stamps and figurine cars. He also liked antiques.

He left behind two loving parents and eight brothers and sisters, a Godmother, a niece and a great nephew, all who will miss him very much.

John and I shared big dreams together of traveling and visiting countries like Australia, Great Britain, Ireland and Canada. Even though we never got to go to any of those places, now that his spirit is free he can travel anywhere he wants to.

Every night in my dreams, I see you, I feel you...
That is how I know you go on...
Far across the distance and spaces between us,
You have to come to show you go on...

Near, far...
Wherever you are,
I believe that the heart does go on...
Once more,
You open the door...
And you're here in my heart and,
My heart will go on and on...

Love can touch us one time,
And last for a lifetime...
And never let go 'till we're gone...

Love was when I loved you...
One true time I hold you,
In my life we'll always go on...

Near, far...
Wherever you are,
I believe that the heart does go on...
Once more,
You open the door...
And you're here in my heart and,
My heart will go on and on...

You're here...
There's nothing I fear,
And I know that my heart will go on...

We'll stay forever this way...
You are safe in my heart and,
My heart will go on and on...
