Fletcher was born Sept. 24, 1944 to the late Oliver Aiken, Sr. and Annie Mae Holmes Aiken. Fletcher attended Abbeville County School system as well as Piedmont Technical College. He was employed as a body and fender worker until he retired in 2008. He was married to Janie Davis Aiken, and this union was blessed 48 years. He was a member of Mt. Zion AME Church in Hodges, where he was a faithful member and bass guitar player on the Stars of Zion. He leaves to cherish his most precious memories, his wife of the home; two sons, Fletcher Eugene Aiken of Greenville, SC, and Stacey (Erika) Aiken of Greenwood, SC; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Joretha Milford of Due West, SC, and Louise (James) Tolbert of Hodges, SC; one brother, Oliver (Ethel) Aiken of Greenwood, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends that will mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister, Cornell (Ruth) Aiken, Johnny (Viola) Aiken, Roosevelt Aiken and Margie Nance.
