Charles D. Anderson, 74, of Mt. Pleasant died Monday, June 10, 1985, at Central Michigan Community Hospital in Mt. Pleasant.

Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Stinson-Helms Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with the Revs. Wayne Eckman and Roland Behnke officiating. Burial will be at Chippewa Township Cemetery.

Mr. Anderson was born Oct. 30, 1910, in Pleasant City, Ohio, to Homer and Susan (Williamson) Anderson. He married Stella Kirk on July 12, 1930, in Kentucky.

A resident of Michigan since 1934, Mr. Anderson was employed as a truck driver in the oil fields for many years and was also a member of the Prospect Park Church Of God in Mt. Pleasant.

Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife, Stella; seven sons, Bobby and Albert, both of Mt. Pleasant, Charles W. of Long Beach, Calif., James of Flint, Ronald of Holt, John of Owosso and Dennis of Perrinton; two daughters, Ann Ryder of Sturgis and Mrs. Dave (Susan) Sweet of Gregory; two sisters, Eunice Bates and Gladys Larrick, both of Pleasant City, Ohio; 3S grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, a sister, and a
brother.
