Charles A. Page Jr., age 65, native of Houma and resident of Baton Rouge for 43 years, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family and friends on Monday, November 2, 2015. He was a graduate of Terrebonne High School and Nichols State University. Charlie also served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve. He was then owner and operator of High Tech Security, Inc. since 1981. Charlie was a devoted grandfather and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was an avid fan of all LSU sports and loved watching his same favorite five movies over and over again. Charlie never met a stranger and was known for his gregarious and witty personality. Charlie is survived by his three children, Charles Aaron Page III and fiancée Khloe Arceneaux, Ashleigh Page Simmons, and Erica Page Morrissey and husband Keith; six grandchildren, James "Jimmy" Simmons III, Aidan Joseph Simmons, Evan Andrew Simmons, Graycen Marie Page, Emma Grace Morrissey, and Mallory Anne Morrissey; mother, Nell Authement Page; one sister, Charlene Page Waldrep and husband Bill; three brothers, Joey Page and wife Melissa, Robert Page and wife Robin, and John Page and wife Nathalie; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Pax. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles A. Page Sr., and grandparents, Joe and Emily Hopkins Page, and Elios and Elphia Authement. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2015, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory & Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, LA, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Visiting hours will continue on Friday, November 6, 2015, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory & Funeral Home from 9:00 AM until services at 11:00 AM. Honorary pall bearers will be Malcolm Spell, Daryl Haynes, Bill Arnold, Robert Fuqua, Leo Innerarity, Dr. Rubin Patel, Ravi Patel, Bart Blackledge, and Paul Ellender. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Rubin Patel, Dr. Cullen Hebert, Dr. James Wade, Dr. Karthik Reddy, Dr. Sheldon Johnson, and Dr. Patrick Stagg. Thanks to the entire staff at Promise Hospital of Baton Rouge and to Pinnacle Home Health & Hospice, especially Nurse Shannon. Also, thanks to all the wonderful friends for their love and support throughout this journey, especially Charlie's ex-wife, our loving mother Carla Ellender, and our stepdad Paul.
