Mrs. Tressie Hardeman Allman, 73, 1116 4th Ave., died at a local hospital today 5:45 a.m.
Survivors include daughter, Mrs. Robert Norton, Gadsden; sons, Bill J. Allman, Gadsden, Raymond H. Allman, Andrews, S.C.; sister, Mrs. E.L. Wilbanks, Gadsden; grandchildren, Mrs. Norman Williams, Montgomery, Mrs. Bob Fazekas, Phillipsburg, N.J., J. Michael Allman, Orlando, Fla., three great-grandchildren.
Services will be tomorrow at 4 p.m. from Collier-Butler Chapel with the Rev. Don Smitherman officiating. Burial in Forrest Cemetery.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers all personal friends.
Mrs. Allman was a native and life long resident of Etowah County. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church and a former teacher of the Loyal Matrons Sunday School Class for over 23 years. Mrs. Allman was the wife of the late Clee E. Allman.
The body will remain at Collier-Butler through the hour of service. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today. The family request no flowers.
