Jimmy was born on November 14,1968 to Martha and Richard Henson in Dallas, TX under the name James Edward Henson. He was the baby to 3 older sisters and at the age of 4 him and 2 sisters were adopted by James and Joan Fleck and his name was changed to James Richard Fleck (Jimmy). He now had 2 older brothers as well which he thought was pretty cool....but no matter what he was still the "baby". Jimmy was so funny and was always saying and doing the funniest things and brought a lot of joy to each of us. He was a carpenter for about 10 years and could build almost anything with his bare hands including building onto his own home. This project meant so much to him that he continued to fix it up until he suddenly became sick and even then continued to try and work on it. Jimmy was so special to so many people. He was the best brother, the best cousin, the best uncle and the best friend and each of us could tell you 1 specific thing that made him special to us. Jimmy was a protector especially when it came to his sisters. Even though he was the youngest he looked out for each of us. He went so far as to even protect us in the end when he was so sick. He always seemed to worry if we were ok or if we needed anything instead of what he may have needed or wanted. Jimmy loved his best furry friend "Troubles" more than anyone could ever imagine. I once ask him why he named her Troubles and he said "because she is always in Trouble". That's what I mean by his sense of humor. Also his friends used to call him "Blue" and a few months ago he text me and said "all of my friends call me Blue so you can call me that also if you want". So yes, I too would often call him Blue. Jimmy had the most infectious smile of anyone I have ever known and he could brighten a room with it. He loved life to the fullest and would do anything to help anyone....even a stranger. He was not afraid to go places and to take chances and didn't appear to be afraid of anything. He was a strong man and a fighter even in the end. Our little brother was the most loving and brave and courageous man that we have ever known and will literally be missed by everyone that knew him and even some that didn't.
