MRS. JOSEPHINE ALBERTA RUSH, 44, wife of Ned Rush RR2 Leavenworth, died at 5:30 Monday afternoon, Jan. 12, 1953, at Cushing memorial hospital. Her infant daughter Margaret Jean was born dead at 3:30 o'clock Monday afternoon.
Mrs. Rush was born in Lansing, Oct. 18, 1908 and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert E. Sherley. She attended the Lansing Schools and was married to Ned Rush in St. Joseph, Mo., Jan. 7, 1932. She was a member of St. Francis DeSalle Catholic church at Lansing.
Surviving are her husband, Ned Rush; four daughters, Sherley, Patty, Loretta and Kathleen Rush; four sons, Lonnie, Robert, Terry and Edwin Rush, all of the home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.E. Sherley of Lansing; one sister, Mrs. Mary Alice Danielson of Bethel and one brother, William Sherley of Lansing.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the St. Francis De Salle church at Lansing. Father Harry A. Imhof, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in Mt. Calvary cemetery.
