AUBURN - Audrey Kateri Richards Waldron of Auburn died Friday at home.
Born in Auburn, she was a communicant of St. Mary's Church and a member of the Rosary and Scapular societies. She taught religious education at St. Mary's Church and in classes at her home. She belonged to several folk singing groups and was involved in the music ministry of the church.
Surviving are her husband of 45 years, Gordon "Leon"; three sons, Edward R. and Michael C., both of Cayuga, and Patrick G. of Auburn; a daughter, Georgiana M. Waldron of Cayuga; two brothers, Patrick Richards of Auburn and Gerard Richards of Cortland; three sisters, Therese Judware of Lawrenceville, Rita Lupien of Auburn and Sister M. Myra "Sally" Richards of Syracuse; an uncle and aunt; 10 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Services are 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Mary's Church. Burial is in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fleming.
Calling hours are 1 to 3 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Brew Funeral Home, 48 South St., Auburn.
Contributions may be made to the St. Mary's Church Renovation Fund, 15 Clark St., Auburn 13021; or Hospice of the Finger Lakes, 25 William St. , Auburn 13021.
