Lloyd was born September 11, 1932, the son of Henry and Emma Kopf Heidbreder. He married Joann Thompson June 6, 1954 in Lincoln. She preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Henry and Harold Heidbreder and sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Betty Jo Heidbreder.
Lloyd is survived by three sons, Dale (Candee) Heidbreder, Rick (Tammy) Heidbreder and Scott (Teresa-"Dollie") Heidbreder; two brothers, Fred and Vernon; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Lloyd proudly served his country while in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from 1950-1953 and worked as a truck driver for Lincoln Transfer/State of Illinois.
