Dolly Carroll, 72, New Castle, died Tuesday in a New Castle hospital after a long illness. Miss Carroll, was a native of Grant County and was a member of the Fowlerton Wesleyan Church.
Survivors include four brothers, Charles E. Carroll, Jonesboro, Albert Carroll, Richmond, Gene Carroll, Fairmount, and Joseph Carroll, Gas City.
A private graveside service was held Friday in Park Cemetery, Fairmount, with Xen Harvey officiating.
Jay-Swift and Storey Funeral Home, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, handled the arrangements.
