Denis P. Rolstad, age 77, of Weyauwega, died on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at St Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. He was born on July 25, 1938, in Barron County, Wisconsin, the son of the late Henry and Holdis(Varner)Rolstad. On January 8, 1994, Denis married Ruth at Hope United Church of Christ, where he was a member. Denis drove motor coach for many years, before retiring from Nationwide Travelers. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and putzing in the garage. He will always be remembered as a fun-loving quick -witted guy. Denis is survived by his wife, Ruth; his children, Amy Doebler and Tricia Snow, both of Appleton; and Denise(Joe)Head, FL; his step-children, Ben(Lori)Bodoh, Renee(Charlie)Abraham, Brian(Colleen)Bodoh, Rachelle(Michael)Wohlt, Wendy(Dale)Novack and Brady(Rojean)Bodoh; 26 grandchildren,; 14 great-grandchildren, a brother, Jerry Rolstad and two sisters, Betty Granum and Lyndell Etlicher; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by two sisters, June Berg and Lenore Snider. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Hope United Church of Christ, 8950 Alpine Rd., Fremont. Pastor Alex Tychkin will officiate. Burial will be in Wolf River Cemetery.
