VARDAMAN – Bettye Dianne Reedy Edmondson, 67, died on Thursday, November 5, 2015, at her home in Vardaman. She was born January 8, 1948, in Memphis, Tennessee. She was the daughter of Eli Reedy and Laverne Taylor Reedy. She was a photographer, a member of Reedy Chapel Baptist Church and a member of metavivor research and support. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 8, 2015, from 1 p.m. until service time at Reedy Chapel Baptist Church in Calhoun City. Funeral service will be Sunday, November 8, 2015, at 3 p.m. at Reedy Chapel Baptist Church in Calhoun City with Bro. Chris Duncan and Bro. Bobby Poss officiating. Burial will be in Reedy Chapel Cemetery in Calhoun City. Pryor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Barry Reedy, Luke Reedy, Walt Edington, Gene Ruth, Cody Ruth and Jeffrey Hall.
She is survived by her husband, Carter K. Edmondson; two sons, Tim Edmondson and wife, Stephanie, and P.K. Edmondson and wife, Mary, all of Vardaman; one sister, Jacqueline Reedy Walls, Vardaman; two brothers, Roger Dale Reedy, Luling, Louisiana, and Billy Reedy, Mount View, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Kemp Edmondson, Conner Edmondson, Molly Edmondson and Eli Edmondson.
She was preceded in death by parents.
