Kent W. Lantow, age 75, of Marinette, Wis., passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at BAMC of Marinette, WI. He was born on Sept. 1, 1942, to the late Harry and Dorothy (Lehman) Lantow in Marinette.

He graduated from Marinette High School in 1962.

On July 7, 1962, Kent married Mary “Monica” Buzek at Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
He worked at Lloyd Flanders, Breshnaham’s, Marinette Marine, and then Scott Paper for over 25 years until his retirement. He loved woodworking, was very skilled and built many cabinets, furniture, and Viking ships from scratch. He also enjoyed country music, deer hunting, fishing, spending time at his cabin he built, time at the YMCA, and especially spending time with his family.

Kent is survived by his wife of 55 years, Monica;
son Chad (Evan Williams) Lantow;
daughter Jodi (Dan) Waloway of Marinette, WI;
sister, Gloria (Ken) Hoecherl; sister-in-law, Judy Lantow; four grandchildren: Ryan Ewaldt, Ashley and Isaac Waloway, and Desmond Williams-Lantow.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Larry.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 1, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Thielen Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Entombment will be in Forest Home Mausoleum.
