DR. CHENAULT DIES AT HIS HOME HERE -
Beloved Physician To Be Laid To Rest On Friday -
Dr. C.S. Chenault for many years a beloved Decatur physician, died this morning at 2:15 o'clock, following an extended illness, at his residence. He was 61 years of age.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Baptist tabernacle by Dr. James Allen Smith, pastor of Central Baptist Church, of which the deceased long had been an active member. Interment will be made in City Cemetery, Brown directing.
The following will serve as active pallbearers: E.B. Whitman, J.P. Matlock, E.L. Thomas, J.W. Wyker, T.A. Caddell, E.W. Stroupe, A.C. Dillehay and Roy Billings. Honorary pallbearers will be: members of the Morgan County Medical Society and Decatur druggists.
Dr. Chenault is survived by his widow; two sons, Dr. Erskine M. Chenault and John James Chenault; one daughter, Mrs. Willard J. Brown; four brothers, G.O., W.M. and Dr. F.L. Chenault of Decatur, W.L. Chenault of Russellville; two sisters, Mrs. B.T. Ashmore of Eldridge, Ala and Mrs. F.C. Hubbard of Little Rock, Ark.
