Nicholas Bravos , 85, of 24 Water St., formerly of 14 Park St., died Tuesday, July 8, 2008 in River Terrace Healthcare, Lancaster, after an illness.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mary L. (Falzone) Bravos ; a son, Joseph P. Cordi of Clinton; two daughters, Anne L. Howell of Phoenix, Ariz., and Judith E. Petersen of Scottsdale, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Mr. Bravos was born in Grafton, son of Anthony and Olympia (Karras) Bravos , and was raised in Clinton. He attended Clinton schools.
Until his retirement in 1984, was employed by Holmes Transportation of Framingham for 32 years. Following his retirement, he worked part time at Flowers by Pasquale and Victory Supermarket, both of Clinton.
He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, and an avid New York Yankees Fan.
