(obit). 82, of St Petersburg, passed away Sunday Nov 1, 2015. Much beloved, he was born in Vermont, a 1951 graduate of Admiral Farragut Academy, and a teacher in Pinellas County for 37 years. He served proudly as a Marine during the Korean Conflict. Married 59 years to his beautiful wife, Mary Ather, who proceeded him in death in 2014, he is survived by his son Mark J Ather (Melody), his daughters Paula M Roberts (Kelvin), Suzanne Ather, Carol A Albers; sisters Janice Camp, Sandra Kling; grandchildren Michael, Paul, Abigail, Olivia, Amelia, Dillon, Bryan, and Kristy. A celebration of life will be held 2-4 pm, Nov 22 at Fifth Avenue Baptist Church, Hobson Hall.
