Diane Marie Archer, 76, died Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at her home in East Jordan.
She was born on November 18, 1938, in Petoskey, the daughter of Charles and Esther (Griffin) Easton.
On May 5, 1956, at the Presbyterian Church in Boyne City, she married Byron R. Archer. They made their home in East Jordan. He preceded her in death on May 16, 2011. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Bruce Easton.
Diane had worked 25 years for Centennial Structural Plastics in Petoskey. After retirement, she volunteered at the East Jordan Senior Center.
Diane is survived by four sons, Mark Archer of East Jordan, Robert Archer of East Jordan, David Archer of East Jordan and Rick Archer of Boyne Falls; ten grandchildren either by heart or by choice; two brothers, Leo Easton of Phoenix, Arizona and Richard Easton of Florida; and one sister, Shelley (Neil) Dorgon of Bay Shore.
The family will receive friends to share memories on Saturday, October 24, 2015, from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. at the Penzien Funeral Homes, Inc. in East Jordan. Memorials may be given to the Hospice of Northwest Michigan, 220 W. Garfield, Charlevoix, MI 49720.
