Ole was survived by his wife Marit, 4 daughters (True Olsdatter Lundeng, Marit Anderson, Johanna Olsdatter Lundeng, Anne Locken) and 4 sons (Lars Olsen Sørhus, Esten Olsen Sørhus, Avle Olson and Hans Olson). He was precede by his parents and his daughter Kari Olsdatter Sørhus.
