Brian Robert Kalendek died Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge, NJ. He was 31. Born in Rahway, NJ, he was a lifelong Spotswood resident. He attended William Paterson University, and was a graduate of the Burlington County Police Academy. He was a police officer for Amtrak at Penn Station, NY for the past five years, and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police. He was a communicant of Immaculate Conception RC Church, Spotswood.
Surviving are his parents, Robert S. and Lynn Freeman Kalendek of Spotswood; a sister, Sarah and her husband Richard Bruno of Jackson; his paternal grandmother, Mary Farkas Kalendek of Spotswood; a nephew, Chase Bruno, and his girlfriend, Ariana Mora of Keyport.
Funeral services will be held at the Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood, NJ. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick, NJ.
